After I left Egghead?!

 After I left Egghead, or just before I left the New HR Director which I help hire gave me two weeks to research on the computer at work to look for a new HR position.   She even helps giving ideas as to where to work.  She told me what my last day was on working at Egghead.  The last two weeks was fun to say the least.

I found a recruitment agency called Adecco.  The recruitment Agency was run only by females.

They found me several positions to go interview for however the interviews did not go well.

I did find on my own a position at Yahoo.com  and a start up Company called Ingenuity Systems.

Yahoo wanted me to be a courier.  All I had to do was run between buildings delivering brown envelopes.

I had also applied for a position at Yahoo called the Yahoo web surfer Positions.   Now days a computer is supposed to search thru the Yahoo webpages searching for mistakes.   I got the phone call right after I started working at Ingenuity Systems.   They gave me a week to choose.   The first week working at Ingenuity Systems.   The science dept had taken one week off from work.   So, their Dept was lights off and quite.   The engineers were working with dimmed light because of the glare on the screens.  I mention that when I worked at Egghead.com that the Creative Service Dept put a shade screen onto the computers so there would be less of a glare.   

So, next thing I knew lights came on in the Engineering Dept and they all had screens on their computers.

My Dept HR was next to IT/Help Desk in the beginning then changed to be next to Marketing in the back.

We had an empty cubicle between Dept.s.

The start up was very empty and quite.     So, I was not sure if I wanted to stay their.   My supervisor was always on the road, so I had the Dept to myself.

I had to Call Yahoo HR and turn them down even tho it would mean I would have to not get the chance of sitting in their purple chairs.   I was in my field and I was happy.    A scheduler.
