Do you ever wonder why retail and hardware stores sometimes have an orange rubber cone near the beginning of the aisle?! They do this to keep the customers safe.
It is mandatory that a worker in the beginning of every hour (the first 20 minutes) to sweep the aisle floor. Then if a customer should ever break or spill liquid onto the floor a sales member can call for someone to not only sweep but wash the floor. If all workers are taught this then it helps promote the team customers agent skills set.
The store should never have any hazards on the floor so you can fall down and make a scene. You do not want a lawsuit. The lawsuits help stop customer s from coming to your store.
